Outdoor Education Programs

Tahoe Adventure Company Outdoor Education Programs are designed specifically to complement students' classroom studies. With our extensive background in Wilderness and Experiential Education, TAC is able to create custom programming specifically for each camp or school. The power and effectiveness of Outdoor and Environmental Education is well established and, in our opinion, an extremely important component of a child's growth and understanding of the world. This hands-on approach to learning reinforces classroom lessons and allows students to experience the world they are learning about. Experiential Education creates lasting impressions and promotes a strong connection to the natural world.

Tahoe Adventure Company Outdoor Education Programs are custom designed for each school. Programs can run for 1-5 days and can incorporate any or all of our Adventure Activities. Group camping and cooking equipment as well as all gear for your activities is provided. "Great people and location. Priced so you can enjoy the lake and not break the budget. Afterwards, the beach is a great spot to chill and enjoy what nature has to offer." -Jeff B.

Rentals

"We rented a tandem kayak from Tahoe Adventure Company. The rental was quick and easy. You walk up and scan the QR code on your phone, fill out the waiver on your phone and send it in. They have large and small dry bags for rent for $5. We took the large one, which fit our towels, our picnic lunch, and a number of other things that we didn't want to get wet. The kayaking itself was great! After leaving, we headed left approx. an hour to the rocky area, which was nice to explore. We found a rock near enough to shore that we could easily get out of the kayak to swim and then sit on the rock to eat lunch before heading back. Overall trip was 3 hours and the scenery was beautiful (in spite of the haze due to the wildfires around CA). We would definitely do this again." -Katie G.
