Tahoe Adventure Company brings you adventure travel trips in the Lake Tahoe area. Our emphasis is on making sure our guests are taken care of with professional, knowledgeable guides who add to the experience. The focus on our trips is on getting closer to nature and away from the crowds. Sample what the Lake Tahoe area has to offer on one of our memorable journeys.

The date to start your adventure is very flexible. Generally we will be able to accommodate most time schedules and calendars, including many mid week plans. Seasonal variations and weather conditions can impact the plan, but the Lake Tahoe area has moderate and beautiful conditions most of the summer and fall. The warmest months are May through October and these tend to be the most popular for aquatic activities. Conditions for hiking and biking are best during these months as well. For day trips a two day advance reservation is required, and four days advance reservation is appreciated. Because of our ability to customize your trip, we don't require you to adhere to schedules we create. However you may want to book your trip early to ensure we have space available, especially in peak season. Just call or email us and, in all likelihood, we will be able to accommodate your schedule.

All trips include everything you will need depending on your activities: Knowledgeable and friendly guides who will provide safety information, equipment, natural and human history discussions and instruction. All equipment and safety gear for kayaking, bicycling and hiking is provided. Appropriate transportation can be arranged. Any required permits or camping fees are provided as well. Meal service, snacks and beverages are provided for most trips, depending on length. Individual trip descriptions will detail any meals included. You will only need to bring appropriate clothing, footwear, and other personal items.
